About Power Brake Service:
We build and Rebuild endless varieties of new and classic brakes for every type of vehicle and trailer. The company was started by George Sweeting in 1950 who worked for the railroads and Lockhead, it is now run by his son Bob Sweeting who learned about modifying cars while drag racing in the 60's, and Bob's son Matt Sweeting (who grew up in all of this) is taking over more and more responsibilities. We were a Warehouse Distributor for Bendix for 20 years until they sold they sold their Power Brake Division to Bosch, which is when we became a special modification contractor with Bosch for their power brakes - which come on most new American vehicles. Our ability to design brake systems, rather than just replace rotors and pads, has taken us to amazing places and we have worked on amazing projects. We have:
Hydro-Boost Conversions
Vacuum Brake - Conversions, Upgrades, and Modifications
Wilwood and Brembo Disc Brake Kits
Master Cylinders
Stainless Braided Hoses
Classic Car / Muscle Car Stock Brake Restoration and Rebuilding (Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang, Ford & GM Truck, Mopar, Rolls Royce)
Light Truck / Medium Truck Hydro-Boost Replacement Parts and Conversions
Medium Truck / Heavy Truck Hydro-Max, Air brake, and Air-hydraulic systems - and Hydro-Max Conversions for the obsolete Delco Hypower
Conversions for the obsolete Buick Grand National, T-bird SC, Land Rover, Jeep and all other electric brake Booster / electric powermasters
Modified Boosters for the Handicaped
Disc/Drum and Disc/Disc Proportioning Valves
We have worked on everything from propane powered trams to roller coasters, cranes, parade floats, multi engine street rods, classic european cars, double decker buses, and a Freightliner racing truck. Our favorite is working on big engine muscle cars that make too little vacuum and need more stopping power.

Inherited '84 Buick Riviera T Type
1984 Buick Riviera T Type...44,000 original miles and was owned by my grandfather. Immaculate two tone leather interior, digital dash, sports steering wheel, moonroof, turbo v6, less than 1000 made in 1984. Even the rear trunk is electric! I recently had a new radiator, new front shocks, tuned and new battery installed. Receipts to show work. This car does have some hail damage from a recent storm but many of the dents have popped out with the summer heat/sun. (Note: The dash light is for the parking brake which was engaged) Overall very nice car.
87 Turbo Buick 11.42/121mph pass
June 26, 2009 - Baseline testing for the next upgrade. Funny part is Mustang before me forgets to close his hood. Not so funny as my tires cool down waiting for him to get his act together. That rattling noise after launch is a lesson learned on how much the tranny actually moves under load and how much clearance to maintain from rotating parts...oops.

Swapping drums to disc
i bought DA trailings arms form a 93 integra to switch over because the drums in the rear are destroyed so the car for now is only breaking from the front.
1968 Pontiac Catalina Drum To Disc Brake Conversion Part 02
Part 2 of N. I don't have the right kind of jack, and I can't afford one right now, so until payday comes around again I'm working on other parts of this project. Today I took off the drums, took apart one of the donor discs so I could clean it up, and had a close encounter with what I believe to be a black widow spider.
