Test Drive 2010 Chevy Impala

If you are looking for a solid American car this could be it. Starting at $24,290 and moving up to $30,000, the Impala is just a plain vehicle. I'm not a fan of the styling or at least the stripped down version I was driving, but the car had room and got good gas mileage. I just thought there wasn't much car for what you were paying for compared to others.

Here is a video tour of the 2010 Chevrolet Impala in LT trim. This particular vehicle has the 3.5L V6. If you guys want a more through review or drive of the vehicle, please leave a comment below. I'll be soon making another video (maybe) on my final verdict on this car. I have to say though that so far I am extremely impressed. In some ways, it's even a bit better than the Camry. 2001 Chevrolet Impala Test Drive
Got this 2001 Chevrolet Impala 106,XXX miles, good time for a test drive video on the way to lunch! What a nice car!

2009 Chevrolet Impala SS
We bought one of the first 2006 Impala's back in the fall of 2005 (an LS with the 3.5 liter V-6), literally right off the car carrier. Despite being wary of buying the first production year of ANYTHING, we loved that car! We were impressed with the performance of the 3.5 and it was a GREAT car! As you might have guessed, being a "motor head", I enjoy performance just for the sake of performance, I do a LOT of highway driving. I could get consistently between 29 and 31 MPG's with the 2006 (depending on headwind vs tailwind) at "rural Kansas speeds". The only gripe I had actually were the sun visors, after about a year, they stopped staying up, I eventually put some velcro on the headliner. Obviously, a "first year issue"... However, time marches on and "The Rocket" as the kids named our first one, had 71,000 miles on it. Since we finally got a decent refund, we thought we would stop by the Chevy dealer and see what was what. We had honestly set out to get an LTZ with the 3.9 liter, but we made a critical mistake! We took the SS out for a test drive... "Go ahead sir... mash her down once... No I mean REALLY mash it" The rest as they say is history! We LOVE the 5.3 liter V-8... the heated leather, the BOSE, the power seats, the steering wheel audio controls, the On-Star. People ask.. but what about the GAS milleage? I simply respond, "I did NOT buy THIS CAR for gas milleage..." I reach in my pocket and trip the remote start, when the V-8 rumbles to life I continue... "I bought it for THAT!" With the changes at GM... I am glad I got my modern, slick and striking muscle car before WE are force fed "Chevettes" again....

2012 Chevrolet Impala Overview/Test Drive/Review
Here's my experience with driving my grandfather's 2012 Chevrolet Impala. It's been a while since I did a car video and with some of the "bad press" I've heard circulating about these cars, it seemed like a good idea to collect my own thoughts. I probably should have re-read the manual before making this video. In an effort to have the fairest reviews that Adsense money can buy, I have NOT watched or read any reviews of this car prior to making this video. My opinions are not only obnoxious, they're also mine...and not those of my parents, bothers, house cat, anyone I know, anyone who would admit to knowing me or the car itself. While it's a decent handling and driving car with a pretty good amount of power, I'm just not that crazy about it. Parts of the car do feel somewhat cheap. The trunk lid opening is small. I don't like the way other things are designed. The "new GM" is still doing an old trick--building what is basically the same car and selling it as a Buick, Cadillac and Chevrolet. The higher-end makes just have more bells and whistles. For a "reinvented" car company, this does not bode well. The 3.6L engine has nothing on the supercharged 3800 Series II fired Bonneville SSEi. I think the Impala *might* catch the Pontiac and that's about it. I also think the Impala's transmission feels awkward at times, especially at less than highway speeds or whenever it is not cruising at a set speed. All in all, I'd much rather have the Keykeeper's 2010 Grand Marquis or even my mother's 2002 Buick Park Avenue. What happens around the eleven or so minute mark is deliberate. It's also a snarky commentary/response to those who can't "mind their own business". I find it highly amusing that Youtube suggested "motor sports" as a tag for this video. I am easily amused. It is also amusing, considering that Furhead (deliberately) misprounces "Impala" that one of the suggested videos to watch after this one is entitled "How to Pronounce Chevy Impala 2012 SS LS LT LTZ Car Review Fix Crash Test Drive Recall MPG ". The things that technology can do these days. I may need a break, what with recently being told that I also have a Youtube channel! That is all.
