RC ADVENTURES - BOOM! HPI SAVAGE FLUX HP 4WD MT - 6S LiPO - SHREDDiNG PURE POWER
http://www.RCSparks.com - AWESOME! This is MEDiC's Personal Choice MONSTER TRUCK for the 2012 RC ADVENTURES Season! The Electric Savage Flux HP from HPI Racing is a 1/8 Scale "Bashing/Racing" MONSTER Truck. Its tough design and rugged frame have been impressing me ever since I have seen them cruising the bashing fields in 2011. I must wait NO LONGER.. and I have unleashed the POWER!
In this film, I test out the 6S Lipo Battery capability and run 24 VOLTS to the HPI / Castle "BLUR" ESC and "TORK" 2200kV Brushless motor. I try this both ON and OFF ROAD to put the Hype to the test.. IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything from INSANE Speed.. Standing Backflips, KILLER SUSPENSION and MONSTER POWER .. what more could I ask for!
I was running a 5450mah Lipo set, and the run time was approximately 45 Minutes before I blew the tire off of the thing! LOL! AWESOME :~) Totally my fault, and irresponsible RC'ing.. but DANG it made GOOD FILM!! Trusting the All Metal Geared Transmission, I was not afraid to go full throttle on the straight away.. but I could only get to 1/2 Trigger! IT WAS SOOO FAST! It also has a Reverse Gear.. for when you get into a bad situation. I like the FWD and RWD combined to give the rig a BEAST QUALITY.

To answer some of the questions in the comments:

1) This was taken at Pipal Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
2) I am driving my Traxxas Slash VXL 4x4 1/10 scale short course truck.
3) This is a water fountain that had recently been shut off for winter. Not a public urinal.
4) No, this is not a real truck.
5) Yes it is battery powered. At the time I was running 8.4 volt NiMh battery but have since changed to a 7.4 volt LiPo which can be seen in my later videos.
wcm pro stock 1/4 scale test run
