How To Build a Chevy 383 Stroker - Part 1: Block & Crank
This is a new multi part series on how to assemble a small block Chevy 383 stroker motor (actually it is an internal combustion engine - "motors" are electric - but I digress LOL).
MOST of the assembly applies to any small block engine. I have divided up the assembly procedure into many parts so you can skip to the specific part you are looking for, i.e: crank, camshaft, timing chain or how to adjust rockers.
This whole series was shot by myself with my iPhone so presenting, filming and assembling could all be done smoother but "ir-regardless" I hope it helps.

"Black Beauty" 1995 Monte Carlo Tribute
Black 1995 Monte Carlo LS was my first car. Got it with only 54,000 miles on it in October 2006 from my grandma. Loved this car. Over time the EGR valve got clogged from to much carbon build up and caused my spark plug in cylinder 5 to blow up and melt the piston along with blow the head gasket and blow the coil pack for 2 and 5 all when i was driving home. made it 100 miles with 4 cylinders. When it happend it had only 86,000 miles on it. It was in the middle of january of '09. A month later i found the best replacement which was my 2005 monte carlo LT with the 3.8 :) just wish i woulda fixed the old one sooner!

1995 monte carlo flowmaster exhaust and stock cold air intake
1995 monte carlo 3100 V6 flowmaster 40 series delta flow muffler i just took off the old air box and put a cold air filter head on the rubber tubing it works good its not in a very good place becuase its by the rad hose but it sounds good and it gave the car a little more power but it works really good
