Let it be known I cheated. I started in 2nd and he started in 3rd. He was catching up fast. That is one FAST FAST evo. On a Dyno log he makes 458 at the wheels. Its amazing what a GT30/76R size FP red turbo, and 31 psi on E85 will do for a evo x. Both cars are VERY quick. The following was a spirited acceleration from 5 mph to 45 mph on a 45 mph road. :-)

5.0 V8 Lotus Seven replica (locost) very first start
Today marked the first start of the V8 Lotus Super Seven replica I've been building from the ground up. 2.5 years ago I started with nothing but some square steel tubing, wire welder, and angle grinder. From that, this was created. It still requires a body to be made... and paint... and a lot of other stuff, but this was a monumental step and a great Friday the 13th. Thanks to everyone that has supported me and helped me out.
