This video was requested by Baumaa. It is just a video of my drive from my apartment to my on campus job at night. I apologize for the darkness and the noise from the camera shifting in my hand. Baumaa requested this video to hear how loud my Exhaust is inside the car during normal driving. The video is an okay representation and I tried putting references in the video (closing the door, the open door chime, the turn signals), but I'd say the Exhaust is a little louder relative to those references than the camera mic picked up. Around 4:30 I go up a pretty steep hill. I also apologize for forgetting to turn my music off until halfway through the video.
0-70mph Acceleration sound from interior of Ford Contour SE Sport
Probably about 3/4 throttle with a slow start (it was on gravel). The engine is a 2.5L Duratec V6. Please, no comments on how slow it is I'm not using this car to race or to try to beat anyone else at how fast I can go. Its enough power to make it fun to drive and thats what I modified it for. I'm working with what I have here.

This is for those who own one and have no idea how to put the brakes back on after fighting to get them off. It is not a full tutorial as I forgot to record it until I was almost done, but I had to start all over because I didn't do it this way the first time.
It cuts out during the last spring. Basically I had to bend the hook back into place and then press it in with a flat head screwdriver. Then you just tweak the adjuster, position the shoes on the plate with all the springs attached and put the drum on. Of course if you remove the wheel cylinders like I did then you'll have to install them as well. Remember to bleed the brakes. I used a vise-grip on the brake lines to keep the fluid from draining out when I removed the cylinders, that way you don't have to bleed the entire system, just the backs and it only takes a few pumps of the brake pedal to do it.

My Contour's New Exhaust 2
This is another sound clip of my new Exhaust from closer to the tips. MSDS shorty headers, BAT y-pipe, Magnaflow high-flow catalytic converter, and a 2 1/2 inch Trubendz resonated Magnaflow dual Exhaust on 2.5L V6 DOHC in my 1999 Ford Contour SE Sport. I no longer own this car, it was sold in February 2011.
