The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS550 comes with a twin-turbo 4.6 liter V-8 engine. Power eclipses the 400 horsepower mark with 443-lb-ft. of torque too. The transmission is an ultra smooth 7-speed. The 0-60 MPH mark fly's by in 5.2 seconds. The icing on the cake is the Mercedes CLS550 is quite economical getting 17 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway all the while qualifying as an ultra-low emissions vehicle.
Everything about the CLS550 nails what the driver wants. Case in point: the active multi-contour driver's seat. It can be adjusted 14-different ways. Oh and did I mention the seat will give you a heavenly message? The rest of the interior is top-notch luxury all the way. The 14 speaker sound system is brilliant. The Mercedes CLS550 also comes packed with all the high-tech gadgetry. The 2012 Mercedes CLS550 has some high end competition in the Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera. But if you are looking for a sporty personal luxury car, then the CLS550 is tough to beat.

There were plenty of people who doubted Mercedes-Benz' ability to successfully combine the looks and drivability of a coupé with the practicality of a saloon. They shouldn't have done... The CLS didn't just impress all those who saw it, it inspired an entire new class of rival and copycat cars, including the Audi A5 Sportback, the Audi A7 Sportback and the Volkswagen Passat CC.
This is the second generation of the car. It gets an even bolder design and totally new range of engines.

2014 Mercedes S-Class - assistance systems animation
Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 S-Class at the Airbus A380 delivery center in Hamburg, Germany.
Designed to become one of the most luxurious and advanced vehicles ever constructed, the 2014 S-Class has an evolutionary design that incorporates a sportier front fascia, a larger grille and a gentle slanting rear end. The sleek styling enables the model to have drag coefficient of 0.24 which is pretty impressive considering the pint-sized CLA has a drag coefficient of 0.23.
