MKIII Supra Custom day time running lights (DRL) showing dimming function with sides. Fully automated lighting is installed on this vehicle which operates tail lights & headlights independently at different light levels. Only the side lights are shown operating in this video. The headlights would have come on also if it had been darker when taking the video. In built hysteresis prevents on-off-on cycling at dusk & through trees etc. System predetermines if starting up in darkness & bypasses delay. Dipped (low / main) beam & Hi (full) beam head lighting. is controlled as usual by the column mounted switch. The whole system is also manually controlled if required through the stock switches. All external & internal lighting has been fully converted to LED (see other videos) Headlights use HID discharge emitters. Toyota Supra MK3 2JZ 1000hp the first meters
This video is about my 1000+hp MK3 Supra making the first few meters around the garage. Please don't expect a racing video, because the engine is brand new, and the ECU is not programmed yet. We will make race videos about the car soon, but first we have to use it gently for about 1000km's (625Miles) and then go to the Dyno :)
