The mud bog ran until 5:00 am at Jackson County Fair in Cottageville, West Virginia on July 30-31, 2010. The pit was deep and there were hundreds of runs. The dragsters started the night flying across the pit. Then the pit defeated every truck that attempted to cross her for eight straight hours until the "Lightning" truck stepped up and blasted through in the early morning hours. One tough pit and one awesome mud bog.

Linger Run Mud Bog #1 8-22-09
Linger Run or "Havoc in the Hills" has been one of our favorite stops over the past two years. Heading to the Linger's farm between Weston and Buckhannon, West Virginia is more like going to a buddies place for fun than going to a big event. They just do such a good job of running the mud bog and providing a good time for both spectators and participants. Check them out and they will make you feel right at home too.
Mud Bog Deep Pit #2 Calhoun County Wood Festival 2010
Hillbilly Proud returned to the Calhoun County Wood Festival on June 5, 2010 for the first time since 2007. Grantsville hosts a great event with three mud pits for the WVMRA (West Virginia Mud Racing Association) competition. We love the three pit set up. Racers all had a pit they could enjoy with a speed pit, 18" pit, and deep pit in action. Thanks to all those in Calhoun County for the hospitality.
Wirt County Fair, WV Mud Bog 2010 #3
Wirt County Fair's mud bog was held on August 7, 2010 in Elizabeth, West Virginia. We had been to the fair once in 2007 and it was definitely time we made it back. The day started with a mud pit that turned into a rough speed pit with trucks bouncing all over the place. After around 160 runs in the pit it was dug out for the over 40 deep pit runs, and we mean deep pit. Although only two guys made it through all of the trucks provided plenty of bogging action.
