This has the LS6 5.7L V8 pumping 400 HP While paired to a 6 Speed manual.
I don't like the interior in these but it does have a kickass Engine & tranny combo for a small midsize car.

This is an exterior walk around of my baby. My 2004 Cadillac CTS-V with LS7 motor swap and Ford 9 inch rear end.
It makes right at 475rwhp and 521 rwtq. It's a rocket and yet oh so beautiful.
As of 08/20/2009 it's up for sale... why, you may ask, would I part with such a beautiful and unique monster. Well... I just found out that I have much more live version of a real baby on the way. And this "toy" is one of the sacrifices I'll be making.

Well, finally after two years of fabrication, Jeff got his CTS-V back. You may remember it from my CTS-V Cat Pop vid (check my other vids if you missed it) before it got the turbos installed. So now it's back, and it didn't take long for Jeff to 'take care of it'. Enjoy!
Cadillac CTS-V Exhaust Comparison: Magnaflow VS. Magnaflow and Kooks Headers
Before and After Video of Magnaflow Catback Exhaust with and without Kooks 1 3/4" headers and high flow cats on a CTS-V. Car is louder overall, as well as deeper and raspier with the headers on. V also has K&N CAI and various other mods not relevant to the Exhaust note.
NOTES: Car in backround is 2003 Terminator Cobra. Car is smoking at beginning of second video because the car was warmed up (it was cold out, and didn't want to rev the engine cold).
Cadillac CTS-V vs Mercedes E55 AMG
A quick video of a 2004 Cadillac CTS-V up against a Mercedes Benz E55 AMG. The Cadillac has an Exhaust and tune which on a Dyno Dynamics put out 389WHP. The power on the Mercedes is unknown but is presumed stock.
The Mercedes was having issues before the race even started and during the second run it went into a safe mode because of a heat soaking issue. We were able to get a clean 1st and 3rd run.
