2014 Mercedes S-Class - assistance systems animation
Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 S-Class at the Airbus A380 delivery center in Hamburg, Germany.
Designed to become one of the most luxurious and advanced vehicles ever constructed, the 2014 S-Class has an evolutionary design that incorporates a sportier front fascia, a larger grille and a gentle slanting rear end. The sleek styling enables the model to have drag coefficient of 0.24 which is pretty impressive considering the pint-sized CLA has a drag coefficient of 0.23.
G35x AWD sedan vs. G35 coupe
Watch as a G35 coupe runs circles around a G35x all-wheel-drive sedan as they battle head-to-head to fight for the #1 title.
The G35 coupe's modifications are as follows: eBay cold air intake, 1/2" Plenum spacer, and a JRramos Exhaust cut out. The vehicle is also lowered without owners knowledge.
The G35x sedan's modifications are as follows: eBay short-ram air intake, grounding wires, 1/2" plenum spacer, testpipes, G35 coupe mid-pipe. Vehicle is lowered and has 20" racing wheels with a matching red lip.

A group of us went to open track on 12-4-10 at California Speedway's Drag strip. The track was not exactly the best conditions (especially in the left lane). Very few people were able to hook up on the first 100', so most people were doing .5-1 second slower than normal, but still trapping their MPH pretty close to what they should be doing but with a slower ET.
