Buttonwillow Raceway 13 CW NASA Pro Racing March 10, 2011
A great time with friends and competators. Was down on good tires but great fun pushing the truck at it's adhesive limits. Wanted to keep up with the 66 truck but its grunt was just too much. Not too mention the Blue Mazda GT again blocked me and I almost did a loop in that very same corner with him several months ago! Got some good vid of my friend John and his well sorded Porsche and a very tight white rotary.

This was at MRLS 2010. Emilio of 949racing driving a 230whp Kraftwerks Rotrex 99 Miata at Laguna Seca Raceway. lap time is 1:40.9. Car is running on XIDA, 6UL, Kraftwerks Rotrex Supercharger, NT01, on stock engine block. engine never been opened. Yes, none of the guages were working. no tach, no fuel, no water temp, no oil temp, only working gauge was EGT (we all know how important that is). it is due for IQ3 instrument panel, so too lazy to rewire. car is very reliable. who watch gauges anyway :)

After Round 4 of the Miata Challenge time attack was over, there was an open session for us Unlimited class Miata drivers to fool around and film a sparring session. And man, it was epic. WATCH UNTIL THE VERY END!! It will not disappoint. Speedventures Miata Challenge at Buttonwillow #13 2:07.6 lap on 1/30/11
This is Speedventures 2011 Miata Challenge #1 at Buttonwillow #13 on 1/30/11. Car is Spec Miata with restrictor pulled. and 949racing 6UL wheels on NT01. This was my fast lap of the day, driest condition of the day. It rained on and off since 6am. one hour of dry, and 10 minutes worth of sun made this fastest lap of the day. Had to lift at Riverside just to be sure of the pass. another second left in it. There are some wet spot, so had to drive around apexes at few corners. this was using iPhone Harry's Lap Timer, great app for ~$12. lap time is not super accurate. might be off as much as 1/2 second compare to an AMB.
