All New Lamborghini LP700-4 (Aventador) 6.5L V12 Engine Assembly
This new engine will be the heart of the next Lamborghini flagship supercar dubbed as the "Jota" but will be named as the LP700-4 (Aventador). It's a 6.5L V12 engine. It features four-valve per cylinder heads made from an aluminum-silicon alloy, short stroke and lightweight construction to deliver an output of 700 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque.

I got invited to the private unveiling of the new Murcielago replacement called the LP 700-4 (the full name was not revealed and won't until Geneva auto show next year). I must say, the car will blow the doors off any supercar on the market today. Pure, brutal V12 with a Push-Rod suspension and markedly sharp lines. The camoflaged images that are out there on the internet does NOT do this car justice--period!!!
Anyway, Geneva is just around the corner and this will rock the show!

The technology package of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is utterly unique. It is based on an innovative monocoque made from carbon-fiber that combines exceptional lightweight engineering with the highest levels of stiffness and safety. The new twelve-cylinder with 6.5 liters' displacement and 515 kW / 700 hp brings together the ultimate in high-revving pleasure with astonishing low-end torque. Thanks to a dry weight of only 1,575 kilograms (3,472 lb), which is extremely low for this class of vehicle, the weight-to-power ratio stands at only 2.25 kilograms per hp (4.96 lb/hp). Even the fantastic 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration figure of just 2.9 seconds and the top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) do not fully describe the Aventador's extreme performance. And yet, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are down by around 20 percent compared with its predecessor, despite the considerable increase in power (+8%).
The ISR transmission is unique among road-going vehicles, guaranteeing the fastest shifting time (only 50 milliseconds) and a highly emotional shift feel, while the lightweight chassis with pushrod suspension delivers absolute handling precision and competition-level performance. The expressively-designed interior offers hi-tech features ranging from the TFT cockpit display with Drive Select Mode system. The Aventador will be built to the very highest quality standards in an all-new production facility in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

This is the New Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. It is the newest model of Lamborghini and It replaces the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640-4.
The Aventador has a V12 Engine and It has 700 hp! It's just amazing....as the sound, of course. It sounds very good, a very impressive car.
The design is quite similar to the Lamborghini Reventon and It's great IMO!
I think It's the best-looking Lamborghini ever!!
This car will be at GoodWood Festival Of Speed 2011!!

Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador: 7 of them! Loud sound, startups, hard revving, tunnelrun, ..
This is the new Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador, but probably you'll never see 7 of them in the same video another time. It was an international unveiling for the press, and Stephan Winkelmann and Valentino Balboni were there. The video starts with an interview with Winkelmann, president and CEO of Lamborghini Automobili. Then I compared the sound of the Aventador with the other 5 cars that were there: a Lamborghini LP670-4 SV, the Diablo 6.0 SE n°42, the green Lamborghini Countach exposed in the Lamborghini museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, an incredible Lamborghini Miura SV, and the first Lamborghini model ever produced, the Lamborghini 350GT.
You can then hear a very hard revving of an Aventador and then some accelerations and passing bys.

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
I have filmed the world debut of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the Murcielago replacement after 9 years. The video shows three of them on display at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, including details of the exterior and interior too of this incredible machine. The colours for these Aventadors are Bianco Canopus (matte white), Arancio Argos (orange) and Grigio Estoque (grey).
