New 2012 Honda Civic
Honda has launched the new Civic at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. Developed
specifically for the European market, the Civic will be offered exclusively
as a five-door hatchback and will compete in the C-segment, the heart of
European Car market. It will reach European showrooms in early 2012. The
designers of the new Civic wanted to keep the sporty and advanced elements
of the car's character but tailor them to express the new model's even more
elegant yet dynamic feel. In the build-up to the reveal of the new Civic,
Honda has released a series of short form films detailing its development.
The fourth of these films focuses on the design and quality.

Honda finally gives us the all new Civic they should have introduced last
year. Freshened styling, generous standard equipment, sporty driving
dynamics, and excellent fuel efficiency push the vehicle back to the top 3
in the compact segment. Although, still missing a few key upscale tech
features, the strong value is hard to ignore. If you are in the market for
a compact sedan with a reputation for reliability, put the Civic back to
the top of your list.

2012 Honda Civic Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/honda/civic/2012/ The 2012 Honda Civic represents
the 9th generation and this nameplate in one form or another has been on
sale for 45 years! The Civic has been the top sales leader in the compact
sedan segment for awhile and this newest car is pretty conservative. But
the 2012 Honda Civic is meant to appeal and meet the needs of a broad
variety of car buyers.
The base model 2012 Honda Civic retails for $15,605. All Honda Civics with
the exception of the Civic Si, the CNG, and the Hybrid are powered by a 1.8
liter engine that makes 140 horsepower and 128 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy for the 2012 Honda Civic is 28 MPG in the city and 36
MPG on the highway.

The new Honda Civic is available to order from dealers now, with the first
UK deliveries arriving in January 2012. Up against the Ford Focus and BMW 1
Series, the new Civic's styling is an evolution of the radical look of the
previous edition, retaining the split rear window and short, curved bonnet.
The new design gets LED running lights and a useful rear windscreen wiper.
