JAGUAR 420G TEST DRIVE with the JAGUAR DRIVERS' CLUB
This video was originally presented in the on-line edition of Jaguar Driver - Jaguar Driver Enhanced - as part of the 2011 Leviathan Special Edition in May.
Here, we test the Jaguar Heritage 420G, which forms part of the trust's collection. We are grateful to Jaguar Heritage for their assistance in making this video.
Made as part of the Leviathan campaign to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Mark 10 and 420G, this resulted in 27 of these cars attending our National Day at Rockingham Castle on August 7th, almost certainly a record showing.
It's a great time to join the Jaguar Drivers' Club. Membership from just £30 per annum.
For information on the Jaguar Drivers' Club, go to: www.jaguardriver.co.uk
We've been looking after the needs of Jaguar owners since 1956.
Look out for our other Jaguar movies.
Do please leave some comments on the video or the event if you have time - thank you.
2011 JAGUAR E TYPE: Growler E 2011
Nothing more logical than posting this as my 50th video because in 2011, the legendary Jaguar E-Type will celebrate its 50th anniversary, as it was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961.Now, & on the occasion of this anniversary and upon the request of a Swiss businessman , the designers Bo Zolland from Vizualtech and Robert Palm have developed an exciting design inspired by the E-Type. I like it, but I don't like the name (my opinion).
Based on the Jaguar XKR's supercharged 5.0 Liter V8, the Growler E 2011 Concept produces 600 hp instead of the 510 hp of the XKR, thanks to engine remapping.

BBC Top Gear series 19 sneak preview challenge
For one night only, British fans will enjoy a feast of rallying as BBC2 hits fever-pitch in a fashion previously reserved for Top Gear Rally Report.
And that night is this Sunday (January 27). The action begins at 2000 (UK time) with Top Gear's alternative take on last September's Rally GB -- remember Kris Meeke in a Bentley? Well, now's the chance to see the whole Hafren stage as the former IRC champion and factory Mini driver guides James May through one of Wales' finest gravel stages in a beautiful Bentley GT car. IRC Champion driver Kris Meeke driving the new Bentley around the Sweet Lamb stage on one of the stages used by Wales Rally GB 2012 co driven by James May!!
Former Mini driver Kris Meeke returned to the World Rally Championship on Friday's opening day of Rally GB - driving a Bentley Continental Sport GT.
Unfortunately for the Northern Irishman his outing was confined to the Hafren stage, where he completed filming work with Top Gear presenter James May.
Meeke and May drove the complete route for the 15-mile stage, which ended in the Sweet Lamb spectator area.
The time for test has not been made public but it is reckoned to be within 20 per cent of Petter Solberg's benchmark time.
"It was great to drive a car like that through the stage," said Meeke, "but at the same time I had mixed feelings: Rally GB is where I want to be right now, but in a World Rally Car and doing the whole route."
The Bentley was running in standard road car trim, including standard road-going 21-inch tyres. The footage will be shown early next year.
