Volvo C30 Polestar concept, hot lap in-car: Goodwood 2011
Impromptu recording of PetrolBlog's passenger ride in the stunning, 405 bhp all-wheel-drive Volvo C30 Polestar concept car. Apologies for the quality of the footage, this was filmed using an iPhone 4 which, as you'll see, lets us down right at the end.
Great driving by ex-Swedish touring car and Formula Renault driver, Alex Storckenfeldt and thanks to Volvo Car UK for making the passenger ride happen.
Just a shame we'll never see this epic machine make it to production.

Ford Focus Zetec S 1.0 EcoBoost on Millbrook hill route
Firstly, apologies for the quality. The GoPro ran out of memory in the morning, so I used the iPhone 4 instead. And this was only thanks to wedging a Gorrilapod under the head rest!
Secondly, I can't excuse the rubbish commentary, but I wanted to get across what a great drivers' car this is. The handling is exceptional, the engine is brilliant and if it wasn't for a disappointing gearbox, the Focus 1.0 EcoBoost would be a tremendously understated gem.
It's worth a test drive.
Saab 9000i - a slow run up the Pentillie Festival of Speed hillclimb
PetrolBlog takes a slow run up the Pentillie Hill - venue for the Pentillie Festival of Speed. The car is a 1990 Saab 9000i with 140k miles on the clock, so is a rather unlikely choice of car for a hillclimb. Heck, the climb was even interrupted by a fledging bird, therefore guaranteeing that this was the slowest hillclimb ever.

Saw it with my class in Gothenburg. It's just a small clip but you can hear the power. Sounds so fricking nice.
And it's a legal car wich you can drive on the road with.
