EL Falcon Engine blowup - loses two rods and keeps on going!
An EL falcon on its way out, well more like getting ready to be turned into coke cans.
Anyways we tried to drop the oil, turns out it had been running a hill billy dry sump similar to when you do not add any oil for 300,000 k's.
A little tip to get us started - if you do not have jumper leads, grab a battery and jam the terminals ontop of the battery in your car - works a charm - process show in the first few seconds of the video.
The motor started and ran a bit rough, sitting on the limiter for about 15 seconds the rough idle was sorted out by two rods exiting the sump and she ran a whole lot better from then on in.

EL Fairmont 0 - 100 and top speed run
EL Fairmont with EL XR6 motor, XR6 Auto computer (el ghia), T5, 3.45:1 LSD from an EL XR6, custom cold air ram, pod filter in the intake box, full 2.5 inch Exhaust with extractors, hi-flow cat and single straight through muffler. Sorry about shakiness i might try to find a way to mount the camera, but rural roads suck anyways...
Has a speed cut lifter as well, and yes, the speedo has been done to cater for any variations from the different final gear ratios

Wade cam 977b with adjustable vernier cam gear set to 42thou (top end power) Jim mock race series extractors, mandrel bent 2.5inch Exhaust, organic cushion button custom exedy clutch. 3.45 reco lsd intake mods with pod in airbox. J3 custom tune. lowered all round. very tough quick ef. have beaten many xr6ts and ss's have vids. i also own an xr6t so im not bullshitting haha
