DIY- How To Paint Your Car Interior In 10 Steps
1. a. Prep Clean Part With Warm Soapy Water
b. Prep Wet Sand With 800-1000 Grit Sandpaper
c. Let The Part Compelety Dry For A Hour
2. a. First Coat Of Primer Make It Light
b. Second Coat Of Primer Make It Meduim
c. Last Coat Of Primer Make It Heavy But Watch For Runs
3. a. Sand The Primer With 800-1000 Grit
4 a. First Coat of Paint Make It Very Light Just Enough To Make Spots Hold Can 12 Inchs Away From Part
b. Second Coat Of Paint Make It Light After This Is Done You Should Still See The Color Of The Primer
c. Thrid Coat Swipe Paint Across The Part And Now You Should See No Primer
d. Fourth Coat To Etc. Coats Swipe Paint Across Paint Lightly
5. a. Clear Coat Stage Spot Your Clear On Your Part Lightly
b. Repeat Atleast 5 Times After The First Coat You Can Spray A Little Thicker
6. a. Extra Stage You Can Grab You Some Good Wax And Put It On Thick To Protect Your Part Better
7. a. Designs Or Logos- You Can Apply A Smily Face Sticker On A white Piece
b. Paint That Part Black
c. Remove The Sticker And The Face Will Be White
d. Look On Google For Logos Or Letters
e. Print And Razor Blade The Logo or Letters Out
8. a. Tips- Wait Atleast 10 Mintues In Between Coats
b. Tips- Do NOT Move The Part After Painted
c. Tips- Shake Can Before Use And Clear After Use
9. a. TroubleShooting- Clear Is Dull= The Weather Is To Hot or Cold Need Between 70-80 Degress
b. TroubleShooting- Paint Is Running= Your Holding The Can To Close To the Part
c. TroubleShooting- Paint Cracked or Bubbled= The Part Was Wet
d. TroubleShooting- A Bug, Dust, Or Grass Fall On My Fresh Paint= Let Cure A Full Day And Wet Sand With 1000 Grit
10.a. Curing The Paint- Wait Atleast 4-5 Days After Last Coat Of Clear Is Appiled
b. CUring The Paint- Make Sure It Is In A Warm Area
