Well after many years the actuator on the recirc door failed.. Yes its hard to remove. The gears were stripped. Now its fixed with a new GM unit. The top screw is a challenge to get at but its dooable. This usally happens on GM trucks, You will know when this clicking from the dash board wont stop!
