This truck blows it's turbo, and apparently caught on fire mid way through his run. (even though I never saw any flames) Fortunately for him, he won 1st place in the end.

the video in the comments is of a crx with this exact same set up pulled right out of this car and put in the crx the exact same way. no bottle mount at all and the motor was built from junkyard parts and it did not blow up after a month of nothing but Nitrous runs.point is i dnt think bottle mounts matter...

This is a short documentary I made for a class. Using mostly my own found footage, I give a commentary on "Sleepers" and my own personal experiences with them.
This video was intended to tell a story and be mildly entertaining/funny. No one in this film thinks they drive the fastest car on the planet. We are all aware of our limitations.

11.9 @ 112 in the 1/4 on slicks with some c16 race gas mixed in, m90 blower (stock)
Vs full bolt on, gears, tuned 2011 Mustang v6. Regal: TVS swap with stock TVS pulley. 7psi of Boost.
vs full bolt on, 3.55 gears, tuned 1998 Cobra. Regal: same setup as vs the 2011 v6
Vs 330whp low 12 second Vortech supercharged 2002 Mustang GT. Regal: TVS swap + 2.8'' pulley (14psi) and ethanol.
374whp with same mods as vs the blown GT
As always the Regal had stock heads and never had an Intercooler!

*UPDATE*
FWI: This occured on I-295 N in West Deptford/Westville area around mile post 24. The trooper was going 60mph. The posted speed limit at the time was 50mph due to it being a work zone even though the work was finished the signs were still posted. I saw the trooper way ahead and pulled in behind. I know exactly what he was up too. I drive this road every day for the last 15 years. They either poke along like this waiting for a speeder or they just go hammer down in the left lane like 95mph.
