smart Brabus Roadster V6 Biturbo engine start
Just 1 of 2 remaining examples of the 1.4 V6 biturbo, from an original build of 10. This is the only working example left, but is not allowed to be driven on the roads in Germany.
This one is located at the Brabus facility in Bottrop, Germany. The other remains in storage at the smart factory in Hambach.
They were originally designed and built in 2003 to demonstrate what can be achieved by Brabus when Daimler set-up the smart-Brabus partnership.
The estimated cost of each unit was said to be around 330,000 euros each.

Pushing my car after a full mechanical rework. Great sound for such a tiny engine and car, sounds really deep, angry and raw.
You don't need tons of horsepower, big engines and expensive cars to have supreme driving pleasure and a charismatic car, you just need a go-kart-like exotic looking little midget like this and mod it a little. Just don't expect confort, refinement and great build quality, that's not the point, this follows the same principles of the base Lotus Elise, but even smaller, edgier and more characterful.
Specs: mid-engined rear-wheel drive roadster, 698cm3 inline-3 turbocharged engine,120hp, 780Kg, 6-speed F1 paddle-shift gearbox. 3427mm x 1650mm x 1140mm Lenght x width x height, 2400mm wheelbase.
Mods: ECU remap, K&N air filter and 90mm induction pipe, racing Exhaust without catalyst converter, KAW springs for -50mm drop in ride height, wheel spacers 2x30mm front / 2x40mm rear, Eibach shock absorbers, deleted power steering, Brembo brake discs and pads, new paint job and improved/painted/better interior fit and finish.
