JDM Pro-M Stage3 & G-Force Chip, aFe CAI, Vortex TB Spacer & 3" Magnaflow = Fast!
Recently I got a SuperChips programmer and took out the JDM chip (since the SuperChips programmer also advances the engines timing, and my Jeep now feels like it has a shift-kit in it. Talk about awesome, & fast ! ;-) I have a JDM Pro-M Chip hooked into the OBD-2 port (for improved low-end / mid-range power by advancing the engines timing & the G-Force Performance Chip (which makes the engine run a little rich and with the JDM-Pro M Chip advancing the timing, you need a little extra fuel for the perfect power combination)). The G-Force Performance Chip connects to your engines IAT Sensor. An IAT sensor informs the ECU what the air temperature inside the intake is. The ECU then determines how much gas flow the injectors need to dispense for the proper air-fuel mixture. The G-Force Chip is programmed to modify the information sent from the IAT sensor to the ECU, resulting in a better air-fuel mixture. I installed an aFe CAI (`Air Flow Engineering` Cold Air Intake). I also installed a 1" Throttle Body Spacer (Vortex Type). To work with way more cold air flow coming into the engine, with the CAI and the 1" TB Spacer, I also had custom 3" Exhaust installed (from where the Cat's come into a Y) with a high-end MagnaFlow muffler (the stock 2.5" Exhaust, even with a straight-thru Magnaflow muffler, was still to restrictive.). With way more cold air going into the TB & Intake Manifold, the G-Force Chip is sensing the cooler air in the intake manifold and sending more fuel to the fuel injectors, and the advanced ignition timing provided by the JDM Pro-M Chip burns the "rich" fuel/air mixture fast, making this Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L H.O. WAY faster than stock AND it's getting better gas mileage. More air with the CAI & 1" TB Spacer, a more powerfull air/fuel mixture (G-Force Chip) and advanced timing to burn the mixture fast (JDM Pro-M Chip), larger Exhaust & a non-restrictive Magnaflow muffler so there are no bottlenecks = way more power! I may get a SuperChips Fastpaq Tuner to tweak other ECU computer settings from the factory (stock = lame). This Jeep (stock) runs the 1/4 mile in 15.4 seconds (MotorTrend Mag), probably runs mid 14's now, and after the Fastpaq Tuner I'm thinking low 14's.. Dunno.. I would recommend the JDM Pro-M Stage 3 `OBD-2` Chip and/or the G-Force Performance Chip. The least expensive place to buy the "Chips" for your Vehicle/Engine is the chip manufacturer's website. More power to you! ;-)

EFIE Tuning with OBD II
An Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (EFIE) is needed to correct O2 sensors signal to the ECU. The high Oxygen composition in the Exhaust due to HHO injection in the combustion chamber will cause the O2 sensors to read a constant low (below 500mV). In turns, the ECU interprets it as LEAN fuel condition. It increases the firing of the fuel injectors, spitting more fuel than needed into the engine. Thus, the EFIE adjustment is critical to optimize fuel economy especially with Water or HHO-powered and fuel injection controlled vehicles.





BSR - PPC Stage 1 and 2 tested by Czech television (English text)
National television from the Czech Republic has tested some BSR products on a Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 35 and also measured the emissions. They first tested BSR Stage 1 tuning software, then Stage 2 with sport Exhaust. The emissions were even lower with the BSR tuning kit than with stock settings.
