Mazda RX8 192 9600 rpm 40 to 130 km/h in 2nd gear !
Mazda RX8 192 SP model, Hymee Pro Tuned from 7500 to 9600 rpm, acceleration from 40 to 130 km/h in 2nd gear ! The PCM was not yet calibrated and i had 4 wheels on the back seats, so performance was not extraordinary at the moment.
My RX8 0 - 200 kph 27.2 sec. on 1 Km!! (stock,manual 231hp)

(Factory: 6.4 sec.) / 0-128 kph (80 mph) in 10.13 sec. / 0-144 kph (90 mph) in 12.43 sec. / 0-150 kph (93.7 mph) in 13.94 sec. / 0-160 kph (100 mph) in 16.05 sec. / 0-176 kph (110 mph) in 19.92 sec. / 0-192 kph (120 mph) in 24.06 sec. / 0-200 kph (124 mph) in 27.23 sec (on less than 2/3 mile) and 0-209 kph (near 131 mph) in 32.93 sec (on other vid from me 32.1 sec. and 0-220 kph in 39.4 sec.) This is my new 2002 BMW 330ci M Sport. Carbon black, harman/kardon, bilstein suspension. Full factory options. Most that i love about this car is that you dont have to race it to enjoy it :)
rx8 acceleration - 231 PS - 6 speed
2nd and 3rd gear - normally RX8 is much faster as you are changing 1st gear at 9000 rpm so you are starting 2nd gear from around 6000-7000 RPM - purpose of this video is to show engine performance during normal road conditions... not 0-60 race ....
Prelude vs. RX-8
Just messin around in some tunnels. Mostly wanted to get a fly-by shot of my friends RX-8. Surprisingly the whole thing sounded pretty nice in the confines of the tunnel. Anyway, yea he won, no surprise.
Only "hp" upgrades I have are:
-AEM CAI
-Thermal R&D dual tip catback. Looks almost stock.

RX-8 vs. 500 HP BMW M5 at VIR. Mazda RX-8 wins.
Second session on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Finally let me pass after 1-3/4 laps. Both the BMW driver and I are advanced, high-performance driving instructors.
The RX-8 is completely stock except for a B&B muffler and Hawk HP Plus pads on the front. It does not have traction control or stability control. Tires are original stock street Potenzas. No doubt the M5 is stock too, and this has more to do with weight than horsepower.
Camera is a Creative Labs Vado cheapcorder stuck to the windshield with a suction cup cellphone holder. Video was recorded upside-down due to the mount, and was transcoded to rotate it. Quality suffered.
