Banks Top Diesel Dragster: NHRDA Nationals
On March 6th, 2010 the Banks crew tested out the rail's new "Stroker" 427 cu. in., twin-turbo 7.0L Duramax engine at the NHRDA Nationals in Wittmann, Arizona. The numbers for this trip out were 7.670 @173.54. We were a little faster back in April 2009 when we ran 7.17 @ 181.08. We've also run a best trap speed of 190MPH with the car on a separate test session. All those runs were with our twin-turbo'd Duramax, and now we're getting set to hit the track with a supercharged configuration. Stay tuned for that! More info at www.bankspower.com/topdieseldragster

'04 stock LB7, BD full bore Exhaust manifold, 30 PSI stock turbo, custom 3.5" dual Exhaust. TH-400, PDQ Allison converter, Redneck performance Trans-brake full manual reverse pattern valve body, 12 bolt 2 series factory posi equiped with 33 spline spider gears and 2.56 gear, Yukon 33 spline alxes with 1/2 studs, M/T ET streets. Thousands of streets miles later, to date best et is 11.48 @ 120 with 1.68 60' (without the trans-brake), getting 30/24 MPG (City/HWY), 460 HP, approx. 900 lbs torque.
Built in my garage on a budget, stayed tuned it can only get better......

Performing a burnout in the Jesup, IA Lion's Club car cruise and burnout competition. I had 4 305/70/16 BF Goodrich All Terrains turning 120+ mph in overdrive, and a lot of smoke... Got 2nd place.

TWIN TURBO 1971 CHEVELLE OVERVIEW AND DRAGSTRIP RUN
Overview of custom twin turbo setup on 350 cu-in small block chevy in 1971 Chevelle. Divided housing twin scroll Garrett T04B twin turbos on custom schedule 40 thickwall divided tubing manifolds. Dual turbonetics Deltagate wastegates and HKS blow-offs on custom intake plenum. Carb Shop prepped Holley 750HP for blow-thru applications. Good low end throttle response with minimal high end power loss. 525HP at the crank with 8psi Boost and no Intercooler. Dragstrip run at end of video shows stock 2002 BMW M3 running a 13.78 with a good launch. Chevelle was eased off the line due to too much torque and still ran a 12.50

Cummins S10 vs. Duramax Camaro
Brandon's Cummins S10 drag racing at Scheid Diesel's eXtravaganza 2009. Round #2 rematch put me up against the same first gen Duramax powered Camaro Z28. I turned the Nitrous on for this pass and hurt traction even more.
