'69 Shelby Cobra GT 500
Sail down the coast with a '69 Shelby Cobra GT 500 full of passengers. A shade of blue/green that is just mesmerizing to look at. Almost as perfect as the day it was delivered, still has the "Starting Instructions" flyer on the driver's sun visor and the addition of Carroll Shelby's signature on the glovebox lid. A beautiful example of this quintessentially classic muscle car.
From the owner:
Restored by Keith Craft in 2010. Repainted to its original color of Gulfstream Aqua. It currently has about 55,000 miles on the ODO.
It has its original matching numbers 428 CJ engine and top loader 4-speed transmission, and original interior (though the seats are in storage so they don't get worn out).
At Mustang Northwest's 19th Annual Mustang Roundup, the car took 2nd place (was painted black at the time).
Won a silver medal in 2010 at Mid America Mustang Nationals.
More recently it was selected as one of the top 20 cars at the 2011 Shelby Bash car show, placed third at the La Jolla Concours, and won second at the 2011 COCOA Concours de Nice (pronounced the "nice" not "niece").
To preserve the original engine, I had Keith Craft build a 427 side oiler which is being installed this week. That should give the car quite a bit more power, while allowing me to store the original engine for preservation.

1969 MACH ONE Mustang Restoration Part 2 (FOR SALE)
"GERALDINE"
$79,999.99 FIRM!!!
This video highlights the Restoration of our 1969 MACH ONE 428-Cobrajet Project. This is a true "R" code car! It came equipped with all of the Bells & Whistles, including Air Conditioning and Power Steering, which is underway of installation as I type. This car too has been equipped with a full, 4-wheel disk brake option.
This car is special in that when it was ordered, it was equipped with a "Special Paint" Ford # Unknown option. The Marti report finds this to be accurate as does it also reflect in the door data tag. The original owner did not like the two reds that were available that year, (Indian Fire & Candy Apple), so he had a special paint ordered, making this a True, Rare Find, 1 of 1 Car! You simply cannot and will not find another car like this one, "ANYWHERE!"
Since this car was indeed a "Special Paint- Ford # Unknown Code," we decided to apply the "Viper Red!" Although any color placed on the car would be technically correct, we liked the Viper!
Where possible, every part restored so far has been with NOS or OEM type materials. Although this has made the restoration process much longer, we think it has been well worth it and feel that you will too.
The car simply speaks for it's self. "FLAWLESS!" However we would love to answer any questions that you might have...
This car will be going up for sale Late-Summer of 2007, but we will certainly entertain any offers that you may wish to make as it sits today. If you would like to come see her in person, we would be willing to set up an appointment with you.
As "Geraldine" will go home with only the Premium Bidder, please, only Serious Buyers need contact us.
Thanks again for taking a look!
