People will tell you that when you've made something good to leave it alone because sometimes doing too much can ruin a great thing. Acura made the right choice by disregarding this normally proper advice when they decided to create your new 2008 Carbon Bronze Pearl Acura TL with navigation, heated seats, and rearview camera. The Acura TL was already a great car with its powerful engine, comfortable seating, and reliability. But when those already great features were improved upon, the result was a luxurious sport car with the perfect blend of elegance and raw performance. From its immensely sporty looks to its safety features, this car has everything you need and want in a luxury sports sedan. Plus, with only 18,350 miles, you'll have many years of enjoyment from driving this great machine. Let's take a closer look at your new ride.
EXTERIOR: The exterior is covered in a rich coat of CARBON BRONZE PEARL paint which really does nothing but accentuate this beautiful automobile. The side sills and front and rear bumpers all help add to the sporty design. Giving the TL plenty of juice is a 5-speed sequential SportShift automatic transmission 3.2L VTEC V6 engine with 258 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque. Even with this exciting power, it still gets great gas mileage rated at 26 MPG highway! The TL boasts 17" wheels with tires in essentially new condition. There are bi-xenon high-intensity discharge lights with auto-off feature to help you see where you're going. To make parking extremely simple, Acura has provided you with a back up camera so you can see behind you. Additionally, the side mirrors feature an auto-tilt feature when the car is put in reverse. They are also heated with memory and have integrated turn signals. The wipers are also speed sensitive so that you can be safe and see well in even bad weather. Being a 2008 model car, the car still has the majority of its four year/50,000 mile basic warranty and six year/70,000 mile powertrain warranty.
INTERIOR: If you've never been inside an Acura TL, you're in a for a treat. The EBONY color scheme looks simply awesome. The leather trimmed seats, upholstery, and carpet are all in good condition and the interior has no bad smells to speak of. The front perforated leather sport seats are heated for optimal comfort! The leather flows over to the tilt and telescoping steering wheel with controls for audio, cruise, HandsFreeLink, and navigation. The navigation system will keep you on the right track as you head to your destinations and has voice recognition and 8" display. The navigation also features the rearview camera for backing up safely, and Zagat survey ratings so you can navigate to the best restaurants. This unit also houses the AM/FM/XM Satellite stereo with 6-Disc CD changer, MP3 player auxiliary jack, and eight speakers. There have been few updates to air conditioning in the recent past. The TL, however, has dual zone automatic climate control with GPS linked solar sensing climate control! Some other great features are: power windows and locks, aluminum with carbon fiber-look trim, AcuraLink satellite communication system with real-time traffic, keyless entry, multi-info display, 12-volt power outlets, and front and rear cupholders. Your new Acura TL also comes with mats and one key with remote.
SAFETY: Some of the great safety features available are: 4-wheel ABS brakes, dual stage threshold front airbags, front side-impact airbags, front and rear side-curtain airbags, three-point seatbelts, childproof rear locks, rear child seat tether anchors (LATCH), emergency trunk release, vehicle stability assist with traction control, front and rear crumple zones, side-impact door beams, collapsible steering column, and daytime running lights.
CONDITION: While our cars are close to new condition, please remember that they are pre-owned and will show some signs of wear. This TL comes with a VTEC 3.2L SOHC V6 which pumps 225 HP thru 5 speed auto.
The condition of this car was in overall excellent shape but unfortunately, the Transmission was screwed. Shifts were weak & delayed. Reverse gear remained neutral if not given some throttle input, you'll notice that clunk which is when the tranny finally engaged.
