Rarely, if ever, does a mid-cycle refresh get the attention that it has with the new 2012 Nissan GT-R. But there's a very good reason the GT-R is making headlines half way through its production cycle.
2011 Honda CR-Z Review - Honda builds a better MINI Cooper, that just happens to be a hybrid
It's not an econo hatchback for all, but a niche market hybrid perfectly targeted to appeal to a certain group of consumers. No, it doesn't attract the ultra granolas, nor is it a hit with the sort of enthusiasts who know their Hondas not by name, but by chassis code. Instead, the CR-Z is built to appeal to young, urban individuals who value style, fuel economy and a fun-to-drive spirit.

Subaru just revealed what they had been hiding under that sheet the past little while at the LA Auto Show. It was the Subaru Impreza Concept.
A thinly veiled mockup of the future Impreza sedan, the car looks a bit like a bigger Mazda3. Actually it looks closer in size to the Mazda6. It has definitely bulked up. No matter, it looks just fine, sporting what we'd have to say is closer to WRX trim than a base Impreza has any right to wear.

Mercedes easily had one of the coolest press conferences at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. No, it wasn't because of the Sprinkle's cupcake truck on hand dispensing some of their legendary goods. It was all due to Nicky Hayden.

Nissan GT-R Switzer P800 - Dyno run with backfire!
I've received the video from Totalcarconcept.com of the Dynorun! The Switzer P800 kit turns the GT-R in to a 800 HP monster. With a few PSi more Boost the 840 HP is no problem. They have 98 and 100 octaan fuels. The AMS sportcats are much bigger and give good power, also with sportcat! It's possible, they can do it! :)

2012 Nissan GT-R facelift interior footage (no audio)
Nissan has announced the 2012 GT-R will be priced from $89,950 when it goes on sale in United States early next year.
As we have previously reported, the facelifted model features a new front bumper, a revised rear fascia, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. Inside, the cabin has been outfitted with higher quality materials and carbon fiber trim.
Power is provided by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine which produces 530 hp (395 kW / 537 PS) and 488 lb-ft (661 Nm) of torque. The company declined to release additional performance specifications, but expect to learn more in the coming months.
Besides the standard GT-R, Nissan announced plans to offer a $95,100 Black Edition. Details are limited, but it features unique six-spoke wheels and a special red / black interior with Recaro seats and a dark headliner.
According to Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager of Nissan North America, "The Nissan GT-R continues to be a multi-dimensional performance machine that lives up to the concept of the ultimate supercar that can be driven by anyone, anytime, anywhere. With the enhancements for 2012, including its 530-horsepower twin turbo V6 and revised styling, the GT-R legend continues to grow."
