1954 Panhead Spring Special Color original paint upclose and personal
1954 was a banner year for American companies. No one had high production, many went out of business. In late 1954 production, Harley made a new frame called a staright leg frame. This was only produced for the last 200 of this model year. 1955 the straight leg frame was normal production; but in 1954, ONLY 200 were made and these rare machines are different from later year models.
