Preston Herrick's "Blown" 440 Duster - Initial fire-up
Highlights from initial fire-up. Assembled another '70 440 shortblock with lower compression (8.5:1) Speed Pro forged pistons. Topped off with 6-71 Supercharger and dual 750 Edelbrocks. Waiting for electric pusher fan to arrive - no space for anything between radiator and blower drive.
Can already tell this will be a different beast from the NA 440 it replaces.

Blown mud truck
***This video was taken while the truck was still under construction***440 with 671 blower, Dynoed 680 horse@ 6600 RPM. We decided to test out my transmission , the first run I think I accidently bumped it to neutral, second run was clean all the way through 3rd gear. Good thing I dont plan to shift in the mud anyway, its just nice to know things are working properly! I need to upgrade to 70 shafts in the front before I lock it! 440 Mopar 8-71 Blower 900+ Horsepower
This is a built 440 Blown Mopar, (Dyers 8-71 blower, Scat Forged Crank and rods, JE blower pistons, ported edelbrock heads, roller camshaft) this engine never quits making power, we wanted more over drive to see what this would do, but we ran out of pulleys.. At 12 pounds of Boost this engine made 910 plus horsepower. We estimated with 15-16 pounds of Boost this engine would have made well over 1000 hp...
