How to Rebuild a Turbo - Part 1 of 2
Rebuilding a td05h 16g turbo. This process can be applied to many journal bearing turbochargers. :) It definitely comes in handy to know how to do this when you are in this type of hobby.
4/25/12: Small explanation on the balancing of the rotating assembly since I get so many comments regarding it. This particular turbocharger, td05h, has it's rotating assembly components balanced separately. This means each individual part (compressor wheel, turbine wheel/shaft) gets balanced separately. This allows for easy interchangeability of parts in case they need replacing. This is why I am able to install a td05 20g wheel on this turbo without having to balance the entire rotating assembly. THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR ALL turboS OUT THERE. You need to research whether your specific turbo (if it's not td05h) was balanced as an assembly or "component balanced" like I explained above. I hope this information helps. Good luck in your projects. Stay Boostin'

Turbo Supra 4Runner
Crawling in Moab, UT April 2009.
I was having trouble because I didn't have the rear locker wired up. Of course it doesn't help having wet tires. Unfortunately my baby had to be sold in order to purchase my FZJ80. Filmed and edited by user russtuff.

Turbo vs. Supercharged Camry
A look at a turbo 5SFTE camry and a supercharged 1MZFE camry. turbo camry is a 95 4 door, SC camry is a 98 4 door. Both have 5 speed manual transmissions, the turbo camry is a 4 cylinder, the SC is a 6 cylinder. PLEASE NOTE - I am not trying to showcase either car as fast - I don't really think either car is all that fast - it is merely a compare video for my friends :)

400awhp EVO MR and 98whp MR2 Non-Turbo Hill Climb Test Run
January 18, 2006 (3:41am). Here is a video that leaked onto the internet a while back. Just to clear things up, this was not a race by any means. We weren't going all out either. My friend and I were curious if my suspension heavy '92 SW21 could hold up to the EVO 8 MR's OEM suspension + power mods on a tight hill climb. We were supposed to single lane front to back the entire way up, but he was getting in my way on the tighter sections, so I took my own lane. Not the smartest thing even at 3:41 AM. In the end, we figured that he needed to work on his driving, and my 5S-FE MR2 needed more power.
A year and two days later, my SW was hit head on by a driver who failed to yield on a left turn. The EVO now Dyno's 730whp on racing fuel...with no intention of going back to the canyons.
