My attempt at a custom Ipad 3g dash install in my 07 f150 , it all works and volume control with a standard audio pot and audio/charging threw dock connector witch was purchased at deal extreme , it all comes apart easy ,may make more with different setups like airplay or camera connection kit
there is more sanding to so to this to make it perfectly smooth but i just wanted to see it now
btw I had no experience with fibreglass or bondo prior , any one can do this it just takes patients

Today we got our hands on the new iPad 3. We fully integrated the iPad into the dashboard of a 2010 Ford F150. We were able to retain all Ford SYNC features including bluetooth. We also tested Siri (iPhone 4s) with Ford's SYNC system. It works perfectly.

how you can install a aux/usb charger into your ford truck, OEM cost about $150 this one cost about half and includes usb charger. No extra parts needed. bought it at future shop for $80. you can play and charge your device with this.
