our 290 hp redneck mower
This mower has a car rear end, trans., water cooler, motor, and breaks. It was a job to get all that under that mower frame and had to make a stronger frame, the thing is about 900 lb.
the rear end is out of a Nissan truck, that has been cut down to the length that you see, and the trans. is a ford c-4 that was also cut down about 10 in. in length so it would fit, the motor is a ford four cylinder, that has a wild cam, and port & polished heads, and we hand made the header for it. it has a radiator with electric fan under the seat, and gas tank, under the feet is the master cylinder for the breaks, battery, motor & charging system under hood. It has a four wheeler front end, and a VW steering box. the frame was made out of 1"x 4" flat bar.
Oh and there is no drive shaft, the trans. buttons straight to the rear end.

Pulley Swap Speed Test - Hot Rod Lawn Tractor - Racing Lawn Mower
I managed to get the pulley swap done yesterday and we took it out for a little test drive. I decided to leave the engine pulley stock and just swap the transaxle pulley. So, I switched the transaxle pulley from a 9 inch diameter pulley to a 2.5 inch pulley. Then I took up the slack in the old belt, to figure out what length the new belt should be. It turned out that a deck belt from a 40" Murray works just fine. We still have some carburetor issues to address before we'll be getting the maximum performance out of it. I also have some modifications that I'm going to make to the spindles and front end. I hope you find this racing mower project interesting...thanks for watching!
Lawn Mower Mud Boggin
We decided to ride our mudding mowers thru a muddy stream bed out behind my house. It was really slick stuff because that whole area was flooded 2 days before. We still had fun though. We even managed not to break anything!

Fix broken drive belt. I had a spare sitting around to fit it from the old one.

1500 hp pulling out stuck sprayer!
This Terra-Gator fell in a sink-hole and had to get dug out with a back-hoe and then pulled out with 3 Four-Wheel drive tractors and 1 Tracked tractor. Total horsepower was over 1500.
Probably the best sounding Dual exhaust riding Lawnmower!
This is my craftsman lawn mower with a 19 hp oppose twin. I put dual Exhaust on it. No noticable power differance but sounds cool. I think is sounds better in person. I made it with the remains of original Exhaust and some water pipe I got for free. I welded the original flange mounts to engine up to the water piping.
