Automotive Audio System pt.2/2 (2005 Buick Century)
It's now 2011 & I just got around to installing aftermarket audio components to our 6 year old (2005) Buick Century.
Though there was no issue with the factory system, I decided to finally swap things out anyway.
I added a Clarion head unit, (2) Bass Inferno 6X9's. (2) 15" Cerwin Vega Subs & (1) 3000 watt Quantum Audio amplifier.
Other than the small remote wire & the speaker wire used to bridge the sub-box itself, all 4 gauge cables were used.
I did however run my wiring on the wrongs sides, Which turned the amp upside down and will be eventually corrected for a clean finish. This won't be done until I am satisfied with the sound dynamics. There are still more interior speakers to be installed, which is also why my head unit is not yet mounted.
I recently had an issue with some cheap wiring used for ground within the trunk that melted, so it was replace just before this footage was filmed. Being that I was not too hot (physically) and/or frustrated, i decided to record the aftermath.

1998 Buick Regal 25th Anniversary Slab out of San Antone, Texas. Pearl Blue Paint, 22 inch rims, Lambo doors (done by me), Pop Trunk (done by me), system with bang in the trunk. This is how 19 year olds ride! Not Finish with it yet, more updates to come!

Here is a video of my custom 97' Tbird w/ automatic lamo doors and trunk. They go up kinda slow but that's due to the doors being so heavy. Even with a H.O. alt, Optima yellow top, and several kinetik 2400's. So hopefully I can come up with a way to speed um up a lil.
