Sorry for the shitty quality. I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX-v6 Coupe.
First thing's first: I had a couple people ask me how I mounted the fog lights on my old Accord. they had mounting brackets. They were some cheap Walmart Fog lights. I forget the brand of these Fogs but they have an Amazing output. It's a bright yellow which looks good with the HID's but it looks so much better with the LED's. The ambers corners are White/Blue-ish LED's. I'll show it in another vid. Mounting these was a pain in the ass though. I had to make some custom mounts. The main question was the wiring. I was thinking about wiring it to the fuse box, however, for now I have it spliced into the Daytime running lights. I don't know if its because of the remote start or because of the EX model has the feature where it shuts the lights off automatically so the daytime running lights are on at all times. I also have my Police Radar spliced into the car so when the lights are on the police radar is on and when they shut off automatically, so does the fogs and radar.
In this video I have the bumper hung up. I did some touch up on the paint. Painted the License plate base a nice glossy black. Took the grill off the bumper and painted it to match the body paint. Unscrewed the Honda emblem and masked off EVERYTHING except the inside. Painted the inside red (see video) and then put the emblem back on....then hit everyting with two coats of clear coat including the honda emblem. Hit the license plate base with clear coat. Since the plate cover is tinted. I hit the license plate with a few coats of clear coat. Didnt think it would work but you can actually see the numbers better under the tint.
How to install Honda Emblem Dual LED (Dual tone white and red)
this is a Dual color (Red+white) LED Honda emblem light for both running and break lights for my 1994 Honda Civic EG8 model..
unfortunately, the seller did not have the LED lamp for Honda Civic 92-95 (1992-1995) emblem size.. so i had to buy the Emblem LED lamp size of Honda Accord 2006 and buy the Honda Accord 2006 Emblem..
Warning: i used the Thinner as the last resort at this hour of the midnight.. you may say i didn't fully think this through.. the Thinner can eat through plastics and rubber, not to mention the paint and the wax of the car..
Disclaimer: you need some expertise to install things on your own.. and if any doubts, DO NOT attempt this on your own, just seek help at the nearest Car Workshop and no one would think any less of you..
