2013 Mercedes-Benz GL450 Test Drive & Luxury SUV Video Review

The 2013 GL450 is larger, pack with tons of technology, and more refined. On the outside the Mercedes GL is very elegant and refined. This large SUV abounds in chrome and stainless steel parts. On the inside the GL is chalked full of luxurious materials with the ability to seat up to 7 passengers. Although the GL is larger, it weighs less and gets much better fuel economy than the previous generation. There are 3 different trims including the GL350 BlueTEC, GL4450, and GL550. Prices range from $62,400 up to $86,900 but you can top out at over $100k by adding on various packages and options. There are 3 different engines that power the GL Class. One engine is a BlueTEC diesel found on the GL350 while the other 2 engine choices are V-8 motors. The 2013 Mercedes GL450 is powered by a 4.6 liter V-8 that makes 362 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. This engine, paired with a 7-speed automatic, averages 14 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway. Keep in mind the GL is a full size 7 passenger luxury SUV weighing over 5400 lbs. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL Class looks like a strong muscular SUV thanks to the large dimensions, stainless steel skid plates, and distinctive design. The Xenon headlights match perfectly to the LED daytime running lights which are a must for any luxury vehicle. The drive system features Mercedes 4MATIC all-wheel drive to help keep the GL on the road. On the inside the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL450 can seat up to 7 adults while bathing them in high end luxury and comfort. Cargo room is plentiful at 83 cubic feet of space. The materials are top of the line. The front seats are power operated with the capability to heat. There are 2 sunroofs to keep both the second row and third row passengers happy. 2012 Toyota Sequoia Test Drive & SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/sequoia/2012/ The 2012 Toyota Sequoia is one of those vehicles that offers a ton of utilitarian value. The Sequoia can seat up to 8 passengers, has tons of cargo room, and can tow 6900 lbs. There are 3 models of Sequoia for purchase: the base SR5 costs $40,930, the Limited costs $51,040, and the Platinum costs $58,580. The 2012 Toyota Sequoia comes in either 2WD or 4WD. There are 2 different engines offered on the Sequoia for the 2012 model year. Them smaller engine can be found on the lower model SUVs. This 4.6 liter V-8 engine makes 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft. of torque. The larger engine is a 5.7 liter V-8 motor that makes 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft. of torque. Both engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 20 MPG on the highway for the smaller 4.6 liter engine and 13 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway for the larger 5.7 liter engine. On the outside there are a ton of standard features. The bumpers are color matched to the rest of the body. The Sequoia gets standard fog lamps and a chrome grille surround. The stock 18-inch alloy wheels look great but you can upgrade to a set of 20-inch alloy sport wheels which really stand out. The rear liftgate automatically opens and closes. Also the Sequoia comes standard with a roof rack, running boards, and mud guards. On the inside the Sequoia base model gets cloth seating but the Premium models get leather seats that are power adjustable. The standard radio comes with a CD player, Bluetooth, iPod connection, and Sirius XM Satellite Radio. You can upgrade to a great 12-speaker JBL Synthesis stereo system. There is also a touch-screen navigation unit as an option. As stated earlier the 2012 Toyota Sequoia can seat up to 8 passengers. But there is an option which swaps out the middle row seating with 2 oversized Captains Chairs. The Sequoia also comes with power everything as a standard feature. The Suburban has been around since 1935 and over the years it has been billed as a carryall vehicle. The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is a full sized SUV that provides seating for 7, a big V-8 engine, and a high tow payload capacity. This full-size SUV is easy to drive with good acceleration, braking, and handling abilities. The base price for a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is $42,220 with the top of the line LTZ 4x4 costing $58,115. On the outside the Suburban is known for its rugged good looks. Chevy added some nice lines to break up the big boxy look. Up front the chrome grille and big headlights look good. The 18-inch aluminum wheels look nice but you can upgrade to 20-inch or 22-inch wheels. The interior of the Suburban is very functional and you can upgrade to a higher trim level or add additional packages to meet your level of luxury. The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban can seat up to 8 or 9 passengers. There are modern conveniences like a driver information center complete with large screen and navigation. The seats are heated and cooled. There is also an nice DVD entertainment system for both the 2nd and 3rd row of passengers. The 2012 Chevy Suburban is motivated by a Vortec 5.3 liter V-8 engine that makes 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft. of torque. The maximum towing capacity is 8100 lbs. There is a heavy duty trailering package available for only $230 that adds an oil cooler for the engine and an oil cooler for the transmission oil. The package also adds a 3.42 rear axle ratio. The Suburban has a couple of fuel saving techniques that include an Active Fuel Management system which turns-off 4 cylinders under light use. Fuel economy ratings check in at 15 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway. If you need a full-size SUV that can fit all your family and friends along with your necessary luggage and can also tow your toys out back, the 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is for you. The first generation while providing tons of luxury stuck out like a sore thumb due to its dated looks. But for the 2012 model year Cadillac totally redesigned the SRX from the ground up and it became an instant hit. The 2012 Cadillac SRX blends the best of both worlds with its styling. The SRX looks like a cross between a wagon and an SUV. And this is a good thing since Cadillac makes both a stunning SUV in the Escalade and maybe the best looking wagon ever in the CTS-V wagon. Up front the SRX sports the signature Cadillac emblem and chrome grill. The headlights have a really cool shape and are accented by daytime LED lights which is a must for a modern luxury vehicle. Combined with a sloping roof line and massive rims; the 2012 Cadillac SRX is a real eye pleaser. With a base price of $35,985 the SRX is the perfect choice for a luxury crossover vehicle. Powering the 2012 Cadillac SRX is a direct injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine that produces 308 horsepower and 265 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a smooth shifting 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is pretty good at 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. The SRX is available with an Advanced AWD system that features torque vectoring and a rear electronic limited slip differential.
