On October 3,2010 with a 30km headwind at Gimli Dragway, Rob McLellan ran a 10.89 at 135 miles per hour in his Dodge Shelby Charger.

Worlds Fastest Turbo Dodge Shelby Charger 8v 4cyl Omni
On September 30,2012 at Interlake Dragway in Gimli, Rob McLellan ran a 10.04 at 143.28 miles per hour in his Dodge Shelby Charger making it Fastest 8-valve 5 speed 4 cyl turbo Dodge on the planet. This car is still running the none common block 2.2 with stock ported Exhaust manifold and no NOS. Stock 568 trans. with quaife and stock axles.

Shelby Dodge Tribute
This is a short video dedicated to the forgotten Shelby cars and their turbocharged Mopar siblings.
The photos were taken by me at the annual SDAC convention, that was held in Chicagoland this year.

Note: The beginning dialogue is Shelby talking about a Supercharged Charger; I couldn't seem to find some useable audio that pertained to the use of the turbochargers in the numbered cars that followed... But it still has its merits.

This is my new setup- srt4 swap.
SRT short block .020 over with stock crank, DCR strap kit, DCR oil pump and windage tray, srt head (in house ported) with 1mm oversized intake valves and 2mm ex. custom head gasket(in house disign),
custom intake(thank you Piter!), 1000cc MSD injectors(runing at 100% of duty),
2L cams, Precision 6765 turbo @37 psi with T3 flange, 4"down pipe with 3" full Exhaust, 3speed neon auto trani with manual valve body, LSD (Pelikan).
All that run by 'SDS' standalone (Simple Digital Systems - located in Calgary!!!).
altitude 3500, pump gas 94.
The run was done on Dynojet @Davenport Motospotts in Calgary.
