AEM Short Ram Intake On A 99 Z24 Cavalier. Testing Her Out. At about 4200 RPM she sucked so hard it sounded like a turbo spoiling up and then when i shifted it would sound like a serious blow of value! Sickest intake i have ever heard especially on cold days. WOH Worth every penny.
How to remove the intake and change the gaskets on a Chevrolet Vortec 5.7L 350.
How to remove the upper and lower intake manifolds on a GM 5.7L or 4.3L
engine. This truck's lower intake gaskets had sprung a leak and I needed to
change it. When changing the intake gaskets, it's not necessary to remove
the upper intake, but I showcased how to do it anyway for people that need
to change the spider injectors or the upper seal.

GM 3.8 Intake Manifold replacement. Removal the fast way WITH NOTES
this is the "Flat Rate " way to do a 3.8 liter upper and lower intake
manifold set. as you see it is not necessary to take off he serp belt,
alternator or tensioner assembly to remove the lower manifold. I recomend
having someone help when it is time to reinstall the manifold because it
can be tricky to lien up the coolant elbow and not mess up the lower
gaskets when reinstalling. Note that it is recomended to disconnect the
negative battery cable when doing any major repairs. This video is just to
show some guys that said that a lower manifold cant be pulled in way less
than 20 minutes, I know that I went over that , but I had some stuborn
injectors and Im a little out of practice. If you are going to do this
yourself and you are not a professional I recomend that you follow the
procedure in a service manual
1997 Nissan 2.4L Intake Gasket Replacement (Part 1) -EricTheCarGuy
In a way this is a sequel to the Nissan Altima Misfire Diagnosis Video. It
would have been a REALLY long video if I posted both together. In fact I
had to split this video into 2 parts as it is. This job isn't for the weak
at heart. It took me most of the day to get it done. Most of the issues
involve accessibility to the fasteners. Some are stuck down in there
pretty good. I'm told this is a common issue with the 2.4L engine so you
may run into this at some point. If you decide to do the repair yourself,
this video can walk you through the process. For now, sit back, and watch
me suffer. Here's some useful links for you.

How to Install a Short Ram Intake for 96-00 Civic HX/EX/SI
This is a step by step installation instruction video for a short ram
intake on a 96-00 Honda Civic HX/EX/SI. The car used in the video is a 2000
Honda Civic HX (D16Y5) and models may vary slightly. The intake being
installed is an AEM short ram intake with a dryflow filter.
There are captions in the video to help with the instructions, and I have
some background music to make it a little more interesting. I hope this
helps all of you people out there who need a detailed step by step in video
format. I ran into one issue and explained my solution during the install,
probably a common issue with intake replacements in these model Civics.
If you have questions or comments, please leave below, I will try to answer
any questions that I can. I think this video is very thorough and any
amateur modder should be able to install their intake without any issues.
I am not sure where all of the bolts are to remove the stock resonator,
just in case that question gets asked. This intake fit without needing the
removal of the resonator, and I'm sure you could google and find a forum
where someone had this question answered.
The pcv breather/vacuum hose I purchased is a 3/8" vacuum hose, $2.29 per
foot = cheap, in case your intake did not come with a new hose.
Thanks for watching, and mod on!

Demonstrated on a 2004 Buick Century 3.1L V6 FWD.
In this video, we demonstrate how to perform an intake manifold gasket
replacement on a front-wheel-drive 3.1L V6 engine, in this case in a 2004
Buick Century. This is a common point of failure on General Motors' 3.1L,
3.4L, and 3.8L V6 engines, which are used in a large number of passenger
cars across most of GM's model lines.

About the "Fix It Right!" video series:
"Fix It Right!" is a series of how-to videos intended to give
do-it-yourselfers basic instructions on proper vehicle repair and
maintenance. All of our videos show real repairs being performed on real
vehicles by real technicians in a real auto shop. (Repairs are filmed and
shown with the permission of the vehicles' owners.) Although there may be
more than one way to perform any particular repair (and in many cases there
are lots of ways!) we try to focus on the methods that will be safest and
most expedient for DIYers with limited access to tooling and equipment.
We will also occasionally be showing repair processes that are too complex
or dangerous for DIY, or require specialized tooling, expertise, equipment,
and/or certifications. Those episodes will highlight the importance of
hiring a professional auto technician for tasks that are not DIY-friendly,
and demonstrate why such tasks are best left to professionals.
