2011 JAGUAR E TYPE: Growler E 2011
Nothing more logical than posting this as my 50th video because in 2011, the legendary Jaguar E-Type will celebrate its 50th anniversary, as it was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961.Now, & on the occasion of this anniversary and upon the request of a Swiss businessman , the designers Bo Zolland from Vizualtech and Robert Palm have developed an exciting design inspired by the E-Type. I like it, but I don't like the name (my opinion). Based on the Jaguar XKR's supercharged 5.0 Liter V8, the Growler E 2011 Concept produces 600 hp instead of the 510 hp of the XKR, thanks to engine remapping.

It is a combination of good looks, high performance, and competitive pricing, as at the period a Ferrari cost three times more and supplied less horse power, this established the marque as an icon of 1960s motoring. A great success for Jaguar, with more than 70,000 E-Types being sold during its lifespan. Featured in "Kim Basinger Golden Lady Tights Commercial ad". In March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranked first in the Daily Telegraph's list of the "100 most beautiful cars" of all time.[2] In 2004, Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s. Kimila Ann "Kim" Basinger (play /ˈbeɪsɪŋər/ bay-sing-ər, often mispronounced /ˈbæsɪndʒər/ bass-in-jər; born December 8, 1953) is an American actress and former fashion model.
