The baddest Chevy Cobalt racin at the Bristol Street Fights
This was at the kickoff of the 10th annual Fas Mart Street Fights in Bristol, TN at the Bristol Dragstrip better known as Thunder Valley. In this video we have a Mustang and a Chevy Colbalt. My main focus is on the Cobalt. This is no ordinary cobalt as you will see in the video. I don't know what the guy has under the hood, but if I was guessing, I'd say a big block chevy. To me the most amazing thing about this is that the man who is driving is 82 years old! I've always said age is just a number, this man has just confirmed that for me :)
2010 Cobra Jet at Bristol Dragway - In Car Camera
1.38 seconds 60 foot time, 5.9 seconds @ 122 mph at the 1/8 mile mark, tranny stayed in 4th when the shifter was pushed into 5th. Coasted the last 300 or so feet, 10.59 ET. Might have been a 9.30 pass if tranny had not hung up.
