According to BMW the 1 Series M Coupe is a "predator on the prowl", why not give it some GROWL with the Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust system as used on the MotoGP 1M Coupe Safety Car. The Evolution system delivers +20hp and a weight saving of over 44 lbs.
This "cat back" Exhaust system is manufactured entirely from titanium. One of the most important changes is the incorporation of link pipes in the system. The inclusion of the link pipes increases low to mid-range power while at the same time producing a deeper Exhaust note that the original system lacks. Additionally, a pair of resonators are added to eliminate any chance of in-cabin droning. The mounting flanges are made of cast titanium from our in-house foundry and ensure a perfect, leak-free fit.
Moving to the muffler section of our system, we have an optional wireless "dualmode" Exhaust flap control. This allows the vehicle to have a more civilized, but deeper than stock sound at low speed. However, when the Exhaust flap is opened the muffler is bypassed, creating a deep and sporty sound much more in keeping with the personality of the car.
Two Exhaust tail pipe options are available; The first is made completely from titanium while the other is crafted from a carbon fiber composite. The carbon fiber version was developed on the MotoGP Safety Car, which is driven at sustained high speed, to guarantee uncompromised durability.

Father Taking Delivery of his New BMW 1M Coupe!
10/26/2011 @ 7:00 AM, the truck arrives with my father's new 2011 BMW 1 M Coupe! Needless to say he was/is VERY excited about getting it. I cannot begin to describe how amazing this car looks and drives!! This is his 3rd BMW M car. The other 2 are a 2003 BMW M5, and a 2001 BMW M Coupe (not shown in video yet). only 12 miles on the clock. Already have Eisenmann Exhaust waiting to be put on and an ECU upgrade waiting to be downloaded (he is waiting until it is fully broken in first). You have to see the car in person to truly appreciate it. It is truly spectacular!
