FAST GMC SYCLONE vs SS CAMARO
11 second run in the Syclone. I was only running for times so I wasnt paying much attention to my reaction times. Times were in the 11.4 to 11.5 time for the day. Looking for SY/TY custom fabricated parts. www.westfabrications.com
GMC Syclone at Road America 2004 (chase cam)
One and a half laps. I had a blast! This was my first time on a road course. I detuned the truck to about a "high 12 second" performance level because I was running stock brakes (which I severely melted and have since upgraded).
The driving here isn't my best because I usually take it easy to warm up for the first half lap, but I only had one opportunity to get a sweet chase-cam like this!
The stock 700-R4 transmission and air to water Intercooler did a great job, despite running a total of 200 miles of racing over the weekend! It runs rich (smoke on straights) because I ran a homemade Xylene mix for high octane that day.
