350 Startup
This is us starting my new 350 I built from a bare block for the first time. It was pretty badass. Rob took the video and I compiled it.
Chevy 5.7L 350 ticking/knocking
This is my 93 Chevy Silverado. It makes a very weird noise when you accelerate and I'm not completely sure what it is. It is a high miles motor. Always had the best oil, and filters every 3,000 miles but they were hard miles (pulling lawn equipment).
Chevrolet Monte Carlo 5.7l V8 running on Flowmaster's
This is my 74 Chevy Monte Carlo, 5.7l (350 cui) V8, 2 bbl., running on stock manifolds, straight true dual Exhaust system, 2'' tubing, no cat, 2 x Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers 2.25', 3.3'' tailpipes. Sounds better in real than on video. Yes, there is a partial front end conversion (headlamps from a 76-77 Monte Carlo).
350 Tbi stumbles
this engine has always had this problem , stumbling and sometimes dying when going slow I.E when parking
Engine Running Problem
Truck is a 1992 Chevy K1500 5.7L TBI
This got me stumped. This truck has never had any problems before, and has sat for extended periods of time with no problem. It sat for a couple months, has had a tune up (coil, cap, rotor, plugs, wires and a fuel filter) done within the last year. Also had a new fuel pump put in it when all the other stuff was changed. After sitting for a couple months it started acting up like this, stalling out in the road when I stop and everything. Took the cap off and everything was clean, nothing was wet. All the wires were seated properly and in good condition, plugs looked good, a little rich but not bad. Then when I go to take video of it it clears right up. Now it is just intermittent.
Do you think it is just water in the fuel or something?
