Doch beide Fahrzeuge liefen wie an einer Schnur gezogen und lieferten sich schließlich heiße Duelle mit den Rechtlenkern. Eine Runde auf dem Hockenheimring mit dem 340PS Westfield 1.8L Stroker-Kit von Klasen Motors. Fahrer ist Stephan Klasen.
Der Motor stammt aus dem Opel Corsa D OPC mit 1.6l Hubraum und wurde auf 1.8L aufgebohrt sowie mit stärkeren Komponenten wie zum Beispiel einem K16GT2 turbo und mehr. Des Weiteren wurde ein sequentielles Quaife QBE60G 6-Gang-Getriebe mit Schaltwippen und automatischem Zwischengas beim Runterschalten ohne die Kupplung zu treten verbaut. Leider wurden zwei Jahre alte Avon Slicks gefahren die wenig Traktion hatten, wodurch das Auto sehr unruhig war.

How to build a Westfield Sports Car
Shows the construction of my Westfield Sport 2000 module build (lotus 7 inspired) sportscar. The engine is a ford duratec 2.0l with a Weber Alpha throttle body injection (204hp), with lightened flywheel, sports clutch plate (hydrolic), connected to an MT75 - 5 speed quick shift gearbox. This is connected to a 3.92 LSD Ford 7" differential. Suspension is fully independent and fully adjustable with a wide track front arrangement and front and rear anti roll systems fitted. Brakes are AP racing 4 pot (ventilated discs) at the front and VW golf mk4 solid discs at the rear, operated by an AP Racing master cylinder.

A track day with the Porsche 928 club at Castle Combe with great weather.
My car is a Westfield Sei with a Honda S2000 engine.
First session of the day so a gentle start but was soon sustaining sub 1.20 laps. Fastest of the day later on was a 1:17.5, well happy with that
Watch for the near miss bird strike at 9:20...... nearly took my head off !!

I recorded a couple of Donkervoorts during a exotic car event, called MaartenMemorial Day 2011. Donkervoort is a manufacturer of authentic hand-built and ultra light weight sports cars in The Netherlands. They use Audi engines in their cars.
