2012 Boss 302 Gets Mods, Dyno Tune and Track Tested!
A few weeks back, Pete Epple of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine dropped by to check out our untouched 2012 Boss 302 Mustang! While he was here, we added a few modifications to help us make this thing just a little bit faster! After a round of mods and Dyno tuning, we headed to the track to check out what it could do against our 2011 Automatic Ford Mustang GT with similar mods. Each year, AmericanMuscle.com brings together two things that most Mustang enthusiasts appreciate: crazy Mustangs and smokin' hot AM girls! Aside from that, theres was lots of glare which explains why I inserted so many pictures throughout the vid. This pony has a supercharged 5.4L DOHC V8 which pumps 550 HP to the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual. This is the latest evolution of the 5.4L Intech V8 engine which 1st saw life in the 1999 Lincoln Navigator, later in The Ford GT40 & Mustangs. This Mustang GT uses Borla S-Type Catback Exhaust. Sorry. Recorded at a parking lot, there was not enough road to accelerate as it should be. Thanks to BMC Extreme Customs (creators of the Black Mamba Hood) This Stang is a 2011 5.0 manual V8 (don´t get confused with the different emblems my car has) and I got inspired mostly on the 2010 Shelby GT 500 Super Snake, Thanks for watching and for all the major positive comments.
