Wayne's Chevy "Shorty" Van!
A few years ago I started a search for an early 1970's Chevy "shorty" van. Man they have just disappeared. No vans and no restoration market out there...I was shocked. So I found this 1995 shorty ( the last year GM made them).
I am slowly cloning it to look more like a early 1970's van with grill, bumpers and more. The next step will be moving the rear license plate up to the rear door and installing the rear bumper. I hope to have a the '70's look that I love but with the the suspension, airbag, 305, 4L60E trans, A/C of the 1995 van.
It's been my daily driver for a year or so now.

Lion's Den on day 2 after arrival at Steve's shop near Hamilton Ontario. The Lion's Den custom van was a twice best of show winner at the National Truck-In, the largest annual van event of the modern age. It has unfortunately been through a few habds since then.
Steve will be restoring the van over the next while.
