El Kia Rio ya está en Perú. En el frente lleva la inconfundible máscara Tiger Nose, con líneas que proporcionan al auto un aspecto más robusto. Aquí los faros neblineros son más grandes y alargados que la versión hatchback.
Lleva un motor de 1,400 cc, 16 válvulas con doble árbol de levas, con 107 HP. Además cuenta con la tecnología CVVT. Todas las versiones cuentan con dirección electrónicamente asistida. Está disponible con caja mecánica de 6 velocidades más reversa y con caja automática secuencial de 4 velocidades.
En el interior, el timón es forrado en cuero con mandos de audio y teléfono, además es regulable en altura. Tiene una radio para CD y MP3, más un puerto especial para conectar el iPod o el iPhone. También lleva lunas, espejos y pestillos eléctricos. Cuenta con una guantera que enfría o calienta a bebidas a gusto del cliente. No falta el aire acondicionado y un sunroof eléctrico. Lleva doble airbag, solo en las versiones De Luxe.
El Rio sedán ofrece un buen espacio para que los pasajeros se sientan muy
cómodos con asientos confortables.
En la parte exterior, los espejos laterales son retráctiles electrónicamente y los aros son de aleación de 15''. Importante es el sistema de frenos ABS con que cuenta el Rio.
Por último, en la parte trasera cuenta con sensores de estacionamiento y una maletera de 500 litros de capacidad. En la parte interna de la maletera lleva la llanta de repuesto también de aleación.
La garantía que ofrece Kia para este auto es de 5 años o 100,000 kilómetros de recorrido.

What I have to say about the 2012 Kia Rio: It's a really big step up from the last generation Rio. It has a well appointed and inviting interior. Usually you don't find that in Subcompact Cars. Most of the Bells and Whistles are found on this car. There is an adequate amount of room too. You can also get a hatchback version of this car. Styling is also a strong point too. Great Job Kia!
