Jeep Off Road Movies - Splash
This trip was over 2 days. First day we were in the Stave Lake area. One part of Stave Lake is a sunken forest. It looks really spooky. Second day we were in West Harrison area. There was plenty of snow in the higher grounds. I had a lot of fun going over the water puddles. Nature's touchless drive through Jeep wash :) I just added an offroad bumper and a winch to my jeep. Driving through the Maze District, Canyonlands NP, Utah, Part 1
Video includes sections of the road from Hite (a name stolen from the original community, settled by Cass Hite and now buried beneath Lake Powell. Damn this dam.) to the Wall, the Dollhouse, and a little bit of the drive back. Teapot Canyon, the roughest section of the drive, is featured sporadically - mostly through the easy parts. With only two people making the trip, and one driving while the other spots, video is awfully hard to capture. The section of the drive through Teapot took approximately 4 hours to drive 5 miles. Total drive time from Hite to The Wall was slightly less than 7 hours. With a bit more experience, the drive out took considerably less - only ~5 hours from The Wall to Hite.

Jeep Rubicon and Toyota FJ Cruiser Off-Road in Hawaii
We witnessed first hand the capabilities of both vehicles on the trails. I'm personally a Toyota guy, having owned several Toyota 4x4s, an FJ and now a Tacoma. They aren't evenly matched because the Jeeps articulation and flexibility with the solid front axle, shorter wheel base and being lighter weight. Driver experience, error and patience were also contributing factors in how each vehicle performed. We didn't create this video to make one seam better than the other. Ohana Trails is a Jeep Club here that we were filming and by chance, a group of FJ Cruiser owners were convoying with them. Unfortunately, we had more video of the Jeeps over the FJ's. Jeep 2.5l and Sahara off road CT trail and stuck Ford
Easy section of a nice trail. Mud pit a bit too much for the ford, but his 4wd may not have been engaged at that point. The sahara would get stuck real bad later so we didnt get to film the better sections of the trail. My wrangler has a rough country 2.5" lift and banks Exhaust.
