65 Chevy Impala SS open headers irritates my neighbor
Here's my original high school car, numbers matching (327 c.u.i.) bought in 1972. Decided to open the headers and cruise around my subdivision a little, but end up ticking off my neighbor. I didn't even drive by his house - he lives up the block the opposite direction. When he heads to the back of my car to take a pic of my license plate, I realize this could turn against me. Funny thing is, he doesn't actually recognize me until I get out of the car - then we "share the love".

1965 Chevrolet Impala SS STK # 1050 *SOLD*
Real SS Impala finished in the very desirable code AA tuxedo black color. Powered by a #'s matching 327 V8 producing 300 HP and shifted by a four speed manual transmission. This is a nice SS Impala that's very correct and hasn't been messed with over the years. It looks awesome sitting on 17 inch Cragar SS wheels with low profile tires. 70 Double Blown GTO
My 1970 GTO with two blowers. It's 474ci Pontiac engine with a 8-71 blower on top of a 6-71 blower. This is from the last day of being double blown. I'm going to one single 8-71 blower and going racing. The front clip was removed to make it easier to work on. The reason for the double blowers was not as a power enhancement like many ASSume. I stacked the blowers to have a car that stood out in the crowd. Most Pro Street cars were starting to blend together. If you seen one, you had seen them all. That wasn't the case with this GTO. Al someone had to say was "The double blower GTO" and people knew which car. I was told it couldn't be done, so I attempted it and it worked. It stayed that way for almost 2 years. I knew a twin turbo setup would make more HP. I knew I could have run a 14-71 blower and made more power. That wasn't the point. I wanted to be different than the other cars in the parking lot, I did that now it's time to ove on. For all those people who don't understand why, I'm not going to try and explain it to you anymore. Get over it. I didn't expect EVERYONE to love it. But you won't forget it.

This car is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice! It is my baby and has been garage-kept its entire life. It has been my weekend cruiser/fun car, but it could easily be a daily driver. The engine is original and runs strong - I have never had any problems with it. The interior is also original and is almost PERFECT - no rips, cuts, tears, and little to no wear whatsoever. Be aware: the Exhaust is LOUD - I have never gotten a ticket for noise, but this car definitely turns heads wherever I go! I guarantee satisfaction! I just gave the car a tune-up in preparation for the sale, please see details below. I hate to part with it, but my upcoming wedding takes priority!
THE BAD: 1 of the 2 driver's side tail lights is out (easy fix!). The speedometer runs a little fast due to the smaller wheels. Turn signal lever is included but not attached to the steering column. The body paint has minor nicks/scratches and wear associated with the age of the car (not very noticeable at a distance - just look at the pictures!)
Engine tune-up:
- oil change w/ new filter
- radiator flush and coolant change
- new water pump
- new belts (all)
- new fuel filter
- new spark plugs w/ wires
- new distributor cap and rotor
