GM 3800 Engine Transmission removal (Pontiac Grand Prix)
2010-12-13 : Drivetrain removal from wrecked Pontiac Grand Prix. We remove thee drivedrain by dropping the subframe from under the car. The steering rack and front suspension are still attached. The drivetrain has only 99,635 miles. It's certain to be useful for a future project.

I bought the car knowing it had a trans problem and figured it would be a good project car as well as my daily driver. 2010-12-20 : GM 3800 series II engine and transmission removal from 1995 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight. A tree had fallen upon this 132,000 mile car, so the drivetrain was salvaged. It is now available for a future project.
Pontiac Grand Prix GTP motorswap
Okay for Devon, this has been a money pit, and well 1st week he had the car he spent 1500 for paint, 2nd week the engine locked up, after I dropped a used engine in it, another 1000 later, Okay update,cleared the check engine light and problems so far solved!, trans shifts normal for the most now! any damage I blame on Advance auto parts, one for reading the codes to him, but telling him he couldn't clear any fault codes? I'm like Okay whatever. I never heard of an OBDII scan tool that couldn't clear the light out. so he drove it after the fact, anyways my friend Joel brought his scan tool over, we cleared the codes, and like magic, the trans was back in order for the most, and well now 2 days later light still out and driving good, so some good signs

Buick 3800 Bearings or Lifter or Rod Knocking with Valve Covers Off
Here is a longer video of the 1990 Buick Lesabre with major engine trouble. Hopefully this can be of use if someone can definatively identify the issue so that others who have a similar situation know what is going on with their engine. As for me, I know this engine is trashed. A new one will be arriving soon for the amount of $150 :)
