2012 GMC Acadia Denali FWD Start Up, Exterior/ Interior Review
In this review, we take a very in-depth look at the newly revised 2012 GMC Acadia Denali. The vehicle was provided courtesy of yet another one of our good friends in the Classic Automotive Group, Classic Buick GMC in Carollton, TX for us to review. This review is designed to provide accurate information to both car enthusiasts and potential consumers alike.
2012 GMC Acadia Denali Test Drive & Luxury Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/gmc/acadia/2012/ The 2012 GMC Acadia Denali might just be the best looking large crossover SUV on the road today. The Denali trim adds a ton of luxury features and conveniences to an already wonderful package. In fact, the Acadia is good choice for those who want a bit of luxury in their 8-passenger vehicle but do not want to pay the premium price that a Cadillac or Mercedes would cost. The full-size GMC Acadia Denali is one very handsome vehicle and the base price on this crossover is $46,810.
The Acadia does not look overly large; instead the proportions are just right. The SUV looks great sitting on its factory 20-inch chrome wheels with black accents. Other exterior features include chrome Exhaust tips, bold wheel arches, and LED taillights. On the inside the Acadia Denali is all luxury and technology. There are 2 different seating options; an 8-passenger set-up or a 7-passenger design that includes captains chairs in the middle. Both the second and third row can fold flat into the floor creating a ton of usable cargo room. The interior materials are very upscale and include leather and wood trim pieces. Technology consists of everything that GMC offers. There is a touch screen navigation system, rear view camera, heated and cooled front seats, Bluetooth, and more. The Dual SkyScape 2-Panel Power Sunroof is nothing short of amazing.
The ride is very refined for a heavy vehicle. The Acadia Denali is ultra comfortable for the up-to 8 passengers which makes this crossover a great road trip choice. Motivation comes via a 3.6 liter V-6 engine that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. The 2012 Acadia Denali FWD model averages 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway which is pretty good for such a large vehicle. Other standard include traction and stability control.
